Hello there, my name is Maycie Anderson. I'm the owner of Wise Owl Preschool & Child Care. I am a mother of 2 children, Ayden age 16 and Emma age 12, they are my inspiration in life.
We love to cook, we love to read together, and we enjoy the outdoors most of all. Our family spends our time quading, hiking, swimming, camping, biking... well, needless to say, the list is endless! As a family our time is precious, I understand the importance of quality care and peace of mind while you're away from your little ones. As part of the Wise Owl Family we want you and your children to feel at home here. Your children are growing into individuals who will have their own passions in life and my family is excited to be apart of that journey.
I have always had a passion for caring for children, I was so motivated I took the necessary training and received my certification as a nanny at age 12 through the local hospital. I have been caring for and teaching children for over 25 years, it's a blessing to watch these children learn and grown everyday. Both of my children love to help and guide the little ones, they love assisting the teachers with crafts and activities. It's a wonderful thing to witness and it warms my heart to know these children are creating bonds of friendship and brotherhood.

Wise Owl is certified by the state of Oregon. We are CPR trained and certified, Health and Safety trained and certified, and Food Handlers trained and certified with continuing annual early education trainings and certifications. We are also a member of NAEYC. I'm eager to expand and provide Preschool and Child Care to more families in our areas soon.
